Born to Scots-Irish Gypsies, Dean Denney busied his earlier years by not at all considering what he should do when he grew up. Consequently, he spent time restoring historic homes through North Carolina, Georgia and Virginia. He also spent several years in Savannah, walking back and forth between Pinkie Master's and Moon River Brewing Company, drawing crap and devouring quality beer. When money became tight, he took to several new career paths, including slacker and septic tank decorator. This ultimately lead to his becoming a tattooer.

Dean Currently resides with his wife, who enjoys hitting inanimate objects, and their beloved animals, among which is a Dog named Hank. Dean is quite occupied with the notion that cars look like people, both from the front and the back. A rabid synesthete, Dean is also a fan of Danzig, and an avid opponent of sycophancy.
